Back to school and Safe Parking around school promotion

 This week our Travelwise leaders went to the streets to promote safe parking around schools.  They went in front of our school gates to advertise to parents about watching ours for our children around schools.

 Today our Travelwise leaders went through their induction stage.  Learning what it means to be a leader in Travelwise in our school. 


This was lead by Marianne from Auckland Transport.

Road Patrol training for 2019!!!!

Thanks to Constable Frank Wang, our next years
road patrollers got trained this week.

Calls are as followed-

Leader- Signs out
Leader- Check
Partner- Clear 
Leader- Cross now
Leader- Signs in

Please practice over the holiday break to encourage them to be loud and proud.  Reminding them to check if the cars are behind the diamond before calling signs out.   Checking to see if the roads are clear before asking them their pedestrians to cross.

Travelwise Team Hitting GOLD


YES AGAIN ROWANDALE TRAVELWISE ROCKED IT AND GOT A GOLD LEVEL THE HIGHEST!!!!!

This week the Travelwise Team went to the big ceremony to celebrate all their hard work at the Cloud in Auckland City.  We took 8 representatives from the Travelwise Team to this celebrations for them to feel appreciated for all their hard work this year and they still would like to show the community to be safe around schools.
